“The Delphic Games are truly a forum of arts, which not only demonstrates the talents of the young generation, but also fulfils very important tasks on a global scale: uniting people on the basis of universal values, preserving the world cultural heritage, fostering respect for the cultures of nations and peoples,” - the greeting says.

The Delphic Games opened for the seventeenth time; participants aged from ten to twenty-five were invited to compete. Participants from the CIS countries will show their talent in playing the piano, violin and folk instruments, painting, vocals, and choreography.

Young masters in artistic crafts also arrived in Bishkek. The Games will be held in several age categories. Participants with disabilities will be able to take part in all categories.

The Kyrgyz Republic is hosting the Delphic Event for the first time, this makes the event even more unique. All participants and guests of the Games will get acquainted with the local traditions, customs and culture of the Kyrgyz people.

“This year, the CIS Delphic Games are being welcomed by hospitable Bishkek. Kyrgyzstan has a rich, distinctive culture and many interesting traditions. This is a great place to meet new people and find creative inspiration,” said the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

The jury of the competition includes more than 30 prominent artists, professors and doctors of art history from the CIS countries. Following the results of the competition days, all winners of the Games will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.

“Culture unites different peoples and nations; it is a space where barriers that hinder dialogue disappear. And where there is dialogue, there is development and stability. The language of culture and art is accessible and understandable without translation; it is the universal language of public diplomacy. It plays a huge role in uniting and bringing together the peoples of the entire Eurasian continent,” - the greeting says.

Andrey Belianinov wished all participants successful performances, youthful enthusiasm and bright impressions from communication!
