International Conference "The Great Silk Road" | International Forum for the 50th Anniversary of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage

The International Conference "The Great Silk Road" is being held in Kazan as part of the International Forum dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage with the support of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

The purpose of the conference is to strengthen ties between the coordinators of the Silk Roads Program network and develop joint approaches to the preservation of cultural and natural heritage sites.

The conference was attended by Russian and international experts, domestic specialists in the field of cultural heritage preservation and coordinators of the international network of the Silk Roads program from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Oman, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
