Today, the team of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in alliance with the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia, a large group of public organizations, federal national communities and autonomies took part in laying flowers and wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin wall in the Alexander Garden in Moscow. At the ceremony in honor of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, representatives of different nationalities and religions gathered together to honor the memory of their ancestors who gave their lives in the fight against fascism. During the war, grandfathers and great-grandfathers also stood shoulder to shoulder in battle, defending the right of every people to their own language, traditions, faith and a peaceful sky above their heads.

Standing at the Eternal Flame, community members honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence, and then scarlet carnations were laid at the monument. As those present noted, the words of the sounding anthem of the Russian Federation “Be glorious, our free Fatherland, ancient union of brotherly nations, Ancestor-given wisdom of the people!” resonated in everyone’s heart.

The ceremony of laying flowers and wreaths in the Alexander Garden ended with a proud march of representatives of the All-Russian children's and youth military-patriotic public movement "Yunarmia".
