A solemn ceremony to award the Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Doctor of Philosophy, poet Alexandra Ochirova was held as part of the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly (general meeting of the organization’s members) in Moscow on April 23, 2024. Alexandra Ochirova was awarded the gold medal of the WOW (World Organization of Writers) Award for the book “Russian Cosmism” published in Russian by WOW Publishing House and “Russian Cosmism” in English and Arabic, published by the Silk Road Publishing House at the Bibliotheca Alexandria.

A book worthy of representing one of the most important trends in poetry and philosophy, a manifesto book calling for a rethinking of human experience and the search for new ways for the development of civilization and the harmony of man with nature and the cosmos.

Speaking at the General Assembly, Alexandra Ochirova outlined the main problems that she raises both in her writing and in international social and scientific activities:

“As a representative of scientific thought, I will say that it is perplexing that, unfortunately, in the modern scientific space there is no strategic approach to the humanities, which was developed long ago in ancient times. Of course, it is good to pay attention to the possibilities of studying translations of very interesting foreign authors, but one should pay attention to one's own country, to those lost values of traditional character, to the education systems broken step by step, to the information danger, to the artificial intelligence, which can be trusted with everything except making decisions that concern everyone. And on those huge systems in the holistic world that demonstrate that morality and governance have become global issues."

The gold medal of the World Organization of Writers, WOW Award, to Alexandra Ochirova was presented by: WOW President, Chairman of the Literary Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Margarita Al; First Laureate of the Eurasian Literary Festival LiffT, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Literary Institute, author of the theory of metacode, poet Konstantin Kedrov and Academician, Vice-President of the Academy of Arts of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Andrei Zolotov.

Speaking at the General Assembly, Margarita Al recalled the history of the creation of the organization of world writers:

“From the first days, the Assembly accepted our literary projects and brought us to the international platform, where we proudly presented our Eurasian literary space in Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria. It was the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly that was one of the international founders of the World Organization of Writers. Today is a significant day to realize the depth, completeness and greatness of what was planned.

The World Organization not only largely preserved the traditions of literary events, goals and objectives, but also significantly expanded the boundaries of cooperation and trusting relationships. Most recently, the First Congress of the World Writers Organization, a forum and festival in Nigeria was brilliantly held.

We saw with what respect African public and government structures treat writers. The inclusion of this huge organization representing 54 countries in Africa into the structure of the WOW World Writers Organization isn’t it a credit to our common work for peace on our planet!"

This fact of cooperation of the creative community with African countries became another additional touch to the main issue that was put to a vote of the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly on April 23, 2024: about changing the name of the organization “Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” to “Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly”.
