“Members of the Presidium should and can speak at the “EYA Lecture Hall”. You are mentors, your target audience – our youth.” - stated Andrei Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples 'Assembly after the presentation of the educational project “EYA Lecture Hall” of the Eurasian Youth Assembly.
The presentation of the educational online project took place on November 26 at the meeting of the General Council Presidium of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the format of a videoconference. Members of the General Council Presidium approved the project.
Presenting the “EYA Lecture Hall” project, Kristina Tatarnikova, Head of the Department of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly on Youth Cooperation, noted that 2020 has become a year of opportunities and new communication formats for young people from different countries: “We were able to create new interesting youth online projects. We need to be constantly in contact - to discuss, exchange ideas and opinions. This is the reason we launched the project. It is of great interest both among our peers and among the generation of our mentors.”
Recall, since July this year, seven online meetings as part of the project have been realised on topics relevant to young people: education in Eurasia, professional and creative development, achieving the UN SDGs in the Eurasian space, preserving the planet's ecology and water resources, geopolitics and migration processes in Eurasia, trade and economic relations between the countries of the continent.
