On October 2, 2020, at 4 p.m. (Moscow time), as part of the educational project “EYA Lecture Hall” (EYA – Eurasian Youth Assembly), we will talk about the sustainable development agenda; discuss the experience of implementing the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the countries of Eurasia, as well as corporate social responsibility.
Visiting EYA: public figures, youth envoys of the SDGs in Russia.
Ekaterina Petrunina, Project Manager of the “Lake Baikal” Foundation for applied environmental research and development, founder of the GREEN GAUGN environmental student community, will talk about responsible consumption and production, development of environmental projects in Eurasia, and popularization of the need for careful attitude to the environment among the younger generation.
Young Russian leaders will share their experience in working with the international student community and creating a platform for dialogue in implementing the global SDGs agenda: Youth envoy of SDGs No.2 “Eliminating Hunger” Nikita Rossov and youth envoy of SDGs No.8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” Veronika Yakovleva.
EYA invites young people from Eurasia, students and postgraduates, representatives of youth public organizations, and the media to participate in the videoconference.
