September 17 at 2 p.m. (Moscow time) as part of the project “EYA Lecture Hall”(EYA – Eurasian Youth Assembly) there will be an online discussion “Migration Processes in Eurasia”.
Visiting EYA: Victoria Ledeneva, Doctor of Sociology, Head of the Department of Ethnodemographic and Integration Processes of the Institute of socio-political research of the Federal Research Sociological Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISPR FRSC RAS), adviser to the Head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities (FAN), member of the Commission on Migration Issues of the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations.
Participants of the meeting will discuss current trends in migration and their impact on the integration of the continent's countries, including the formation of the EEU, using the example of Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries.
EYA invites young people of Eurasia, students and postgraduates, representatives of youth public organizations, and the media to participate in the videoconference.
