On November 27, at 2 p. m. (Moscow time), as part of the educational project “EYA Lecture Hall” (EYA – Eurasian Youth Assembly), we’ll talk about works of art, leading artists of Eurasia and art business.
Among the key topics of the EYA Lecture #НЕАНТИКВАРИАТ: the identification of the artist in the modern world, the interaction of the artist with his audience, private and public galleries in the countries of Eurasia, official and alternative venues for personal exhibitions.
EYA's guests include artists and experts in the art industry from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Serbia:
Ksenia Konovalova (Russia) - member of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Head of the socially oriented NGO “Novikov Artists Foundation”, granddaughter and daughter of a famous dynasty of Russian artists. For reference: the Sculptor Anatoly Novikov is one of the authors of the monument to the heroes of Stalingrad battle at Mamaev Kurgan in Volgograd and other monuments of military glory in Russia, the author of the monument to Yuri Gagarin in the UK.
Georgi Vukadinovich (Serbia) - founder of the Serbian-Russian Association for Culture and Art “Vukadinovich”, author and curator of the international project “Artistic Soul of the East”.
Gulya Gromova-Jumagari (Uzbekistan) - member of the International Federation of Artists (IFA), member of the Union of artists of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Her works are in private collections in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the United States of America, France, Germany, Turkey, and Greece.
Elena Kambina (Uzbekistan) - member of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Association of French-Chinese artists, Head of the Laboratory of contemporary art at the Tashkent Architectural Institute (TASI), senior lecturer at TASI.
