Co-chair of the Eurasian Youth Assembly (EYA) Kristina Tatarnikova spoke at the session “Volunteerism and Internship Programs” of the Northern Forum Youth Platform on Sustainable Development on September 27, 2020:
“We invite young people from the North and the Arctic to become part of an international team of volunteers, as well as to complete an internship within one of the activities of EYA. Each of you can contribute to the implementation of projects in the fields of education and science, culture and sports, business and innovation, environmental and social initiatives, and journalism.”
The Northern Forum on Sustainable Development is being held from September 27 in Yakutsk (Russia). Young scientists, environmentalists, public figures and journalists from the regions of Russia, as well as Ireland, Canada, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Sweden take part in the online sessions of the forum.

The international Union of Non-governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” (EPA) unites more than 45 countries of the continent. The EYA Coordination Council consists of representatives from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Serbia, Bulgaria, Palestine, China, India, and Benin. The EYA Youth Asset and the international team “Eurasia Volunteers” carry out activity under the auspices of the EPA. Young people from the continent between the ages of 18 and 35 can apply and become part of the Eurasian Youth Assembly.
