The Day of Spiritual Harmony unites all those who believe it is important to build relationships based on mutual respect for spiritual and cultural traditions. The Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly has traditionally supported this good initiative, which dates back more than 30 years: it was born in 1992 in Kazakhstan at the World Congress of Spiritual Harmony.
Among others, at the origins of the Day of Spiritual Harmony there were members of the Council on Spiritual Culture of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly: Tolegen Mukhamedjanov, Yuri Ageshin, Wilhelm Augustat.
This year the Association “Peace through Culture” will hold the International Conference “Intercultural Dialogue as a Way to Peace”. It will take place on October 16 at the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera”.
Representatives of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly have participated many times in the events of the Day of Spiritual Harmony in Kazakhstan, and also initiated the action “Day of Spiritual Harmony of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly”, which unites the events of our partners around the world. Thus, the Day of Spiritual Harmony of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly will be celebrated in India, Kyrgyzstan and in the Republic of Tajikistan as part of the Days of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly.
