Project goal:
- Counteraction to falsification of the results of the Second World War.
- An intensification of the search for new practices of forming constructive and creative images of the memory of the Victory over fascism, which would contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and peaceful relations between countries and peoples.
- Preservation of the historical memory of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War.
Main objectives:
- Combining efforts of international public organizations and ordinary citizens of Eurasian countries in order to preserve the historical truth.
- Attracting the attention of the general public and the media to the issues of preserving historical memory, countering attempts to rehabilitate Nazism.
- Protection of the historical and memorial heritage of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War.
- Consolidation of peace and assistance in protecting the planet from military, climatic and other threats.
Project content:
1st session of the IPF: held on May 15, 2019 in Sevastopol (Russia) within the XV International Film Festival "VICTORIOUS TOGETHER". More than 40 representatives from 7 countries took part: Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Norway, Russia, USA, France.
