The Youth Wing of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly took part in the International Summit “Climate Adaptation Summit 2021”

The Eurasian Youth Assembly attended the International “Climate Adaptation Summit 2021”. UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte and other major political figures opened the Summit.

The main theme of the morning two-hour session “Youth Leadership” was a youth networking called “Global Youth Call to Action”.

The famous football player Arjen Robben supported the movement: “I know how important it is to be active in sports, as well as in the fight for the environment. Therefore, one must continue to act. I am the father of three children and I want them to grow up in a healthy world.”

Princess Abze Djigma of Burkina Faso gave a powerful speech and asked the audience a question: “When I ask you what is the best solution to save the planet?” Answer: “Action! Action! Action! "

More than 100 youth leaders from different parts of the world took part in the virtual session: the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Bangladesh, Ghana, Colombia, Mexico, Burkina Faso and others.

The youth wing of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly has been invited to participate in the international networking “Global Youth Call to Action”, which will host events and training for youth leaders.
