Working Meeting at the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation

Deputy Head of the Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate of the Presidential Executive Office Vladimir Mazur met in Moscow with the Secretary General of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples' Assembly” Andrei Belyaninov and Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) Ivan Tsetsersky.

Following the meeting, a decision was made to sign a cooperation agreement between the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and VARMSU. The document provides for the development of inter-municipal cooperation.

In addition, other issues of cooperation were discussed. In particular, agreements were reached on the participation of WARMSU in the projects of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly presented during the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Mikhail Kotlov, Head of the Department for Work with Local Self-Government Bodies of the Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate of the Presidential Executive Office, Svetlana Smirnova, First Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and Sergey Druchek, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government.
