Wilhelm Augustat, Co-Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, has passed away

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly is saddened to announce that on March 24, the Co-Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, President of the International Association "Peace through Culture - Europe", Co-Chairman of The World Forum of Spiritual Culture (Austria) Wilhelm Augustat has passed away.

Wilhelm Augustat has been a member of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly since the first days of its existence. At one time, he warmly supported the idea of establishing an International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations and took an active part in its activities.

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly expresses its deep condolences to the family and friends of Wilhelm Augustat and shares the pain of the loss of a man who has done so much to strengthen worldwide peace.
