Union of Women's Forces: An Agreement on Cooperation signed with the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly

On December 24, 2020, the Chairman of the Board of the NGO “Union of Women's Forces to Support Civil Initiatives and Projects” Inga Valerievna Legasova and Secretary General of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples' Assembly” Andrey Yuryevich Belyaninov signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The agreement provides for the establishment of partnerships and the development of long-term and effective cooperation between organizations, including enhancing the role of public diplomacy, as well as the development of international relations aimed at supporting public, state, peacekeeping initiatives, joint implementation of socially significant programs and projects.

The parties agreed to hold various joint events - forums, scientific and practical conferences, round tables, meetings, seminars, discussion platforms, exchange experiences and provide organizational and informational support to each other.

Inga Legasova, Chairperson of the Board of the “Union of Women's Forces to Support Civil Initiatives and Projects”, noted that the signing of this Agreement is an important event in the organization's activities: “The Union of Women's Forces to Support Civil Initiatives and Projects” signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly with great pleasure. Our goals coincide in many respects. Both you and we bring people together. This year, which has passed under the banner of a pandemic, has clearly shown us that unity is what we all absolutely need. Moreover, it is necessary to unite not only at the level of state structures, but also at the level of peoples of different countries, at the level of public organizations. The signing of today's Agreement is a very important step. We hope that we can be useful to the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly”.

Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrei Yuryevich Belyaninov expressed hope that cooperation between UWF and the Assembly will become fruitful: “This is a two-way road. We share your views and have a common understanding. I hope that we have a lot of joint and fruitful work ahead of us. We are very glad that on the New Year's Eve we have such a serious partner as the “Union of Women's Forces”, which unites a large number of women's public organizations.”

The Union of Women's Forces is ready to provide information and other support to the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
