Doctor is a special profession. They treat diseases. To save people is a difficult and, at the same time, noble mission. Now health workers are going through the hardest time. In this difficult situation, they selflessly fight the pandemic, doing everything possible to save as many people as possible, stay at their post around the clock putting themselves in danger.
Expressing gratitude to medical professionals, the Directorate of the XVI Sevastopol International Festival of Documentaries and TV Programs “VICTORIOUS TOGETHER” has prepared a special program of documentaries about the daily exploits of doctors in the name of our lives.
The program was named “Thank You, Doctor” on the film with the same name by a young Director from Kyrgyzstan, Adilet Karzhoev, laureate of the XV Sevastopol festival “VICTORIOUS TOGETHER” in 2017.
At the XVI Sevastopol International Festival of Documentary Films and Television Programs “VICTORIOUS TOGETHER” the Program “Thank You, Doctor!” will be continued as a special event.
The motion picture “Heart. Forty Years Later” by the famous Russian documentary filmmaker Yevgeny Golynkin, opens the series of films about doctors and medicine. Yevgeny Golynkin is a laureate of the “Lavr” National Award, national and international festivals. The film was awarded with the prize “Best Director” at the XIII Sevastopol International Festival of Documentary Films and Television Programs “VICTORIOUS TOGETHER” in 2017.
