Staff Members of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly are included in the Working Group of the UN International University for Peace

Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Yulia Petrova, staff members of the Department of Sustainable Development of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Elena Repman and Kira Kovnat are included in the working group on geopolitics of the International University for Peace - Rome. This is a structure delegated to represent the United Nations International University for Peace - UPEACE in Southeast Europe, the Middle East, the Mediterranean Basin, as well as in North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The coordinator of the group is Prof. Elena Repman, Chief Operating Officer of Diogene Srl (Pareto Academy trademark), Associate Professor at Guglielmo Marconi University, Rome, Italy, Member of the Scientific Council of the Eurispes Sustainability Laboratory.

In addition to the staff members of the department, the group also includes: prof. Nianga Nicéphore Malo, Università UDECOM, Guinea; prof. Luis Naud Pierre, member of the Institute for Economic and Social Development (IDES) Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Thomas Jacques, former Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Abdurrahman Zeki Arifioglu, Associate Professor, Almaty Technological University, Vice President of the Board of Directors, Regional Manager, Kazakhstan - Turkey Ahsel Holding; Elvira Ruziyeva, Professor of Economics, Almaty Technological University; Yulia Yakupbaeva, co-founder of the GPI group and the National ESG Club, Kazakhstan; Paolo Bassi, State Auditor, Italy.

The Research Group will explore and promote the following topics:

  1. Environmental audit
  2. Social welfare
  3. Optimization of business process management
  4. Geopolitics and Geo-economics of rare earth elements

The aim of the working group is to help provide a high quality global scientific basis for information on sustainable development, with particular attention to climate, social and governance requirements. The working group aims to encourage and popularize the use of advanced theories and methodologies for the development of the economy and an inclusive egalitarian society.
