BISHKEK, August 25 - Sputnik. The 1st Youth Forum of the CIS countries and the EAEU "Kelechek" ("Future") started in the cultural center "Rukh Ordo" in Cholpon-Ata.
More than 250 delegates from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan take part in it. Young entrepreneurs, civil servants, diplomats, representatives of creative youth, students from the EAEU and CIS countries are discussing the further development of cooperation between the Member States and the popularization of the idea of Eurasian integration.
The forum is designed to expand the interaction of young people, create new opportunities for the implementation of initiatives, social and professional self-realization of the younger generation.
The key event will be a meeting of young people with the Deputy Heads of Government of the EAEU countries, Chairman of the EEC Board Mikhail Myasnikovich and Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev. Among the forum speakers are the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Zhamankulov, the Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC Sergey Glazyev, the Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund Artem Novikov, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Artur Martirosyan, the Deputy Minister of Education of Belarus Alexander Kadlubay, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Natalya Bocharova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, , Vice-President of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Business "Opora Russii" Eduard Omarov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the NCE of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Timur Zharkenov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov,, rectors of universities and heads of public, business and youth organizations of the EAEU countries.
The program includes trainings and master classes for young entrepreneurs and a number of sessions.
The first youth forum was initiated by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
Today, a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Cholpon-Ata.
