Secretary General congratulated the President of the Charitable Patriotic Foundation of Muslims, Hero of the Soviet Union Valery Ochirov on the Title of Hero of Kalmykia and on his 70th Birthday

Andrey Belyaninov congratulated Valery Ochirov on his birthday.

“On behalf of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples' Assembly”, please, accept my heartfelt congratulations on your 70th anniversary! Your active social work is a bright example of creation in the name of the common good. You are a real devotee. I admire your energy, positivism and efficiency,” - the congratulatory message says.

Also, the Secretary General congratulated Valery Nikolaevich on awarding with the high title “Hero of Kalmykia” for his merit to the Republic.

“Your whole life is an example of serving the Motherland - the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. The conferment of the title of Hero of Kalmykia testifies to the well-deserved vocation of your merits and is another confirmation of the importance of your activity”, - A. Belyaninov.

In addition, the Secretary General noted the successful partnership with the Charitable Patriotic Foundation of Muslims headed by its president Valery Ochirov. A cooperation agreement between the organizations was signed in September 2020.

“I hope that in the future we will be able to implement useful initiatives and projects together,” - noted the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

Ochirov Valery Nikolayevich is a Chief Consultant to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General and Hero of the Soviet Union. He served in the military aviation in various command positions, mastered 10 types of aircraft. He took part in hostilities in Afghanistan, made 867 sorties. On February 21, 1985 a pilot Valery Ochirov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union “For courage and heroism displayed in the performance of international duty in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan”. Honoured Military Pilot of Russia is awarded nine orders, ten medals.
