"Republic of Bashkortostan": Fifteen Athletes from Bashkiria won the Russian Grappling Championship

All-Russian tournament on wrestling grappling took place in the town Narofominsk in Moscow region.

More than a thousand athletes took part in the tournament, including 62 wrestlers from Bashkiria. Fifteen of them showed high results and became winners of the competition.

Vadim Savelyev, Evelina Khadzhieva and Emil Islamgulov won first place in their categories. Albert Sardaryan, Kamiljon Sabirov, Alsu Galieva, Zarina Almukhametova, Nadezhda Vakhrusheva and Milana Gizzatullina won the silver medals. David Balayan, Timofey Gavrilov, Ivan Tuvaev, Diana Girfanova, Anna Koptelina and Arina Salimshine are in third place.

The finalists will join the Russian team for the world championship, which will be held in Serbia in December.

Recall, the participation of Bashkir athletes in the Russian grappling championship became possible thanks to the support of the Representative office of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports.
