Representatives of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly met with the Delegation of the Central African Republic

On October 18, 2022, a meeting with the delegation of the Central African Republic (CAR) headed by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Central African Republic Simplice Mathieu Sarandji was held at the site of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

The meeting was attended by:

  • Vladimir Platonov, member of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Head of the MCCI;
  • Stanislav Korolev, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Member of the Council of the MCCI;
  • Suren Vardanyan, Vice-President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
  • Leon Dodonu-Punagaza, CAR Ambassador to Russia;
  • Igor Shpynov, Member of the Commission on Business Cooperation with African Countries of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
  • Emile Parfait Simb, Advisor to the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Central African Republic, Head of the African Organization of Russophony
  • and representatives of the Moscow business community.

The meeting discussed issues of business and humanitarian cooperation between the Central African Republic and Russia, as well as issues of deeper integration of the Central African Republic into the Eurasian processes.

Chairman of the National Assembly of the Central African Republic Simplice Mathieu Sarandji expressed his desire to continue meetings within the Days of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in December in Egypt.
