On November 26, 2020, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly held an expanded meeting of the General Council Presidium.

Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrei Belyaninov and the First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat Svetlana Smirnova chaired the meeting.

Representatives of 14 countries took part in the meeting of the Presidium.

The meeting approved the draft Activity Plan of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly for 2021.

The educational project “EYA Lecture Hall” was assigned the status “Assembly - initiator/organizer”.

The General Council Presidium of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly also discussed a number of working issues. In particular, the Vice-President of the Arctic Public Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor of the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Marina Minina was approved as the Chairman of the Arctic Council.

Traditionally, the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in a solemn atmosphere handed certificates to the new members of the organization.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly signed cooperation agreements with the Russian branch of the international organization “Women in Nuclear” (Russia)/ Foundation for the Professional Initiatives Development “Women in Nuclear”, “AST” Publishing House and the International Institute of Informatics, Management, Economics and Law in Moscow.
