Molodezhnaya Gazeta (Youth Newspaper): EURASIADA to be held in 2025 in Ufa

Today, via teleconference, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov held a regular meeting of the Public Council of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Bashkortostan. The meeting discussed the results of the year's activities, as well as work plans.

Andrei Nazarov recalled that the goal of cooperation between the Assembly and the Republic is to expand and strengthen international humanitarian and business cooperation and exchange accumulated experience and information.

The Prime Minister proposed to organize a landmark event in 2021 under the auspices of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. According to the Prime Minister, Bashkiria is ready to share the experience of building a Covid hospital in Sterlitamak. 15 regions of the country have already adopted this experience. Note that the grand opening of the new republican Covid hospital will be held on December 19.

Ruslan Khabibov, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said that in 2025 Ufa would host the EURASIADA, the largest sports event in Eurasia. In the near future, its organizing committee will be formed; it will include federal and republican specialists.
