Metropolitan Vikenty blessed the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly

The first day of the Assembly delegation visit to Uzbekistan coincided with the Day of the Blessed Feast of the Bright Sunday of Christ (Easter of the Lord).  On that day the delegation met with the Head of the Central Asian Metropolitan District, Metropolitan of Tashkent and Uzbekistan Vikenty in Tashkent.

Congratulating on the great triumph of the victory of good over evil, the victory of life over death, and the Resurrection of Christ, Metropolitan Vikenty blessed the good deeds of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly aimed at establishing peace and harmony between the peoples of different countries on the basis of spiritual and moral principles.

Recalling the pages of the history of mankind, Vladyka Vikenty emphasized that "the Lord God created man in order he to develop goodness in his heart and around himself."

According to Metropolitan Vikenty, representatives of different faiths, affirming fraternal relations between peoples, should improve in various virtues, which are a means to achieve a peaceful life!
