Member of the General Council Presidium of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Yevgeny Primakov Appointed Head of Rossotrudnichestvo

President of Russia Vladimir Putin has appointed Eugene Primakov the Head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

Yevgeny Primakov is a member of the General Council Presidium of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, a journalist, public and political figure, a member of the State Duma of the seventh convocation, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs. The Decree on the appointment of Yevgeny Primakov to this position was signed today, June 25, 2020.

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly congratulates Yevgeny Alexandrovich on this appointment, wishes him success, achievement of all the goals set in his new responsible position, good health, happiness and prosperity!
