International Memorial Action on June 22 | 22.06.2021

Every year on June 22 the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly supported by the Assembly of people’s of Russia, holds an International Memorial Action as a sign of deep respect for the famous and unknown heroes of the Great Patriotic War

The purpose of the Action is to remind about the historical day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, to show that the memory of one of the most tragic pages in the history of the 20th century will forever remain in the hearts of people who lived together in a single country, who went through all the hardships of a terrible war, survived and won. The descendants’ hearts keep the eternal memory of those who died at the front, were tortured in captivity, died of wounds, hunger and hardship – everyone, who gave their lives for the Great Victory. Together we can try not to let future generations forget the cost paid for the Great Victory!

At about 4 a.m. Moscow time, members, partners and friends of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly - participants in the Action light candles, lay flowers, read poems and sing songs of the Great Patriotic War at the memorials, monuments, tombs heroes of that war in their countries, cities and villages... The international Memorial Action on June 22 is a part of the "IMMORTAL MEMORY" megaproject.

Anyone can take part in the International Memorial Action, regardless of their citizenship and location, by going to the memorial place on June 22, laying flowers, lighting candles. Your videos and photos can be posted in your social networks with hashtags: #22 June #eurasiaassembly #победиливместе #victorioustogether #ассамблеянародовевразии #ДеньПамятиСкорби #бессмертнаяпамятьане
