Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrei Belyaninov in his welcoming speech to the organizers, participants and spectators noted:
“We see how the commonality of the traditions of celebrating this spiritual event - the Nativity of Christ - unites many nations. And this makes us understand the similarity of Europe and Asia, the similarity of people of these two parts of our continent in their good aspirations for peace and prosperity, and their ability to unite in the accomplishment of good and useful deeds.
Traditions that have evolved over the centuries, like nothing else, emphasize this community. These bright days give us an understanding of the true meaning of life, awaken to mercy and love, and bring hope for happy changes.
In modern conditions of disunity due to the pandemic, our unification acquires a special meaning and significance for all people. And we are again convinced that peace and harmony are the main things in life for people of the whole Earth.
By participating in the International Festival –TV Bridge “Christmas Unites” we take another step towards mutual understanding, unification and cooperation. May the Christmas joy be with us in the coming year. I sincerely believe that whatever you think about will come true.”
