The Eurasian Youth Assembly launches a flash mob "The Calling - Volunteer", dedicated to the Volunteer Day.
The flash mob will run from December 5, 2021 to January 16, 2022. Anyone, for whom volunteering is not just a job, but an integral part of his life, can take part.
To participate in the flash mob, you need to:
- Record a video no longer than one minute. The video must show that the participant is a volunteer not only at events, but also in everyday life.
- Post a video on your Instagram page (Reels section) with the following hashtags: #volunteer calling, #volunteer day, #youthassembly, #eurasiaassembly #volunteerdestiny, #volunteersday, #youthassembly, #eurasiaassembly.
- Post Reels in a story tagged @ youth.assembly, and tag five active volunteer-related friends' accounts.
Participants whose videos will be recognized as the best (subject to all the rules of the flash mob) will be awarded with commemorative prizes.
For reference
In Russia the Volunteer Day was established by the Presidential Decree on November 27, 2017. The UN declared International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development even earlier - in 1985.
In his annual Volunteer Day messages, the UN Secretary-General greatly appreciates the role and importance of volunteers, no matter what specific activity they do.
