First Deputy Secretary General Svetlana Smirnova Met with the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo

Today, on July 9, 2020, First Deputy Secretary General – Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Svetlana Smirnova met with the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Yevgeny Primakov.

Svetlana Smirnova and Yevgeny Primakov discussed plans and agreed on cooperation between the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations and the Russian Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

Also during the meeting, Alexander Lebedev, General Director of “Big Asia” TV Channel (a strategic partner of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly), presented this media resource to the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo.

Earlier, the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’Assembly, Andrey Belyaninov, sent a congratulatory letter to the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo on his appointment. Recall that Yevgeny Primakov is a member of the General Council Presidium of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.
