On March 11, in the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the leadership of the Eurasian Youth Assembly had a working meeting of with the head of the “Team of the Russian Foreign Ministry” Igor Alekseev and a member of the Presidium of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry Marina Egorova.
Head of the Department of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly on Youth Cooperation Marianna Grigorovich, project manager of the Department of Youth Cooperation Artem Parenkov and member of EYA Pavel Urakov represented the Eurasian Youth Assembly (EYA) at the meeting.
The meeting discussed possible areas of joint activities. The Council of Young Diplomats and the creative group “Team of the Foreign Ministry” expressed interest in the EYA projects. Of particular interest are the “EYA Lecture Hall” educational project and a series of intellectual games on conflict resolution “Analytical Designer”, as well as cooperation within the Assembly humanitarian project EURASIA KIDS.
The first step will be the participation of speakers and experts of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the EYA Lecture Hall. In addition, supported by the Eurasian Youth Assembly, the teams of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the League of Youth Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan and others will take part in the “Analytical Designer” game.
The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly
The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is an international non-governmental organization aimed at forming a social integration model in the name of establishing peace and harmony through the development of multilateral cooperation and public (people's) diplomacy in the Eurasian space. The Assembly brings together representatives from more than 43 countries. The organization has concluded 114 partnership agreements in culture, entrepreneurship, development of integration ties between the peoples of Eurasia and public diplomacy. The Eurasian Youth Assembly (EYA) is a Youth wing of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. EYA main goal is to unite the youth of the countries of Eurasia, individuals and legal entities, to represent and protect common interests, to achieve socially useful goals in the development of integration processes on the Eurasian continent. The Council of Young Diplomats
The Council of Young Diplomats is a youth public organization of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The Council was established in 2001 on the mutual initiative of the leadership and active youth of the Ministry.
In accordance with the Regulations on the Council, employees of the central office of the Russian Foreign Ministry, foreign missions and representations of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation under the age of 35 and in positions up to and including the first secretary can become its members. The main tasks of the Council are to improve the professional qualifications of young employees, maintain the traditions of the diplomatic service and corporate spirit, promote the creation of the necessary social conditions for the work of young employees and increase the motivation of young people, establish feedback with the leadership of the Ministry, develop creative and scientific potential in order to effectively self-actualize young people, cooperation with public organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
