On March 31, 2023, starts the Eurasian survey dedicated to the most relevant insurance products in international travel. The survey is dedicated to the establishment of the Eurasian Travel Insurance Foundation.

Following the results of the survey, the Atlas of Travel Insurance of Greater Eurasia© will be formed.

The idea of establishing the Eurasian Travel Insurance Foundation was voiced by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrei Belyaninov at the panel session “Tourism unites people and nations: the development of tourism in the Eurasian space” of the International Business Forum “Business Dialogue in the Eurasian Space”, held on March 24, as part of the Days of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in India.

Work on the foundation concept has been underway since November 2022, when the Council for Eurasian Tourism Security of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly launched monitoring of the most relevant insurance products in Eurasian tourism. The turbulent state of international tourism constantly keeps the expert tourism community in good shape. At the same time, tourism remains one of the world’s most in-demand activities. For travel to be rewarding, interesting and safe in every respect, an international travel insurance algorithm must be reconciled. Integral travel security is a major issue for anyone whose life involves travel.

One of the first authors of the concept of the Eurasian Travel Insurance Foundation and the author of the project Atlas of Travel Insurance of Greater Eurasia © is a member of the General Council, Chairman of the Eurasian Tourism Security Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Anastasia Pavlova. The Eurasian Tourism Security Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly has been working since the first day of the establishment of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations. The activities of the Council unite the entire comprehensive tourism agenda of Greater Eurasia and partner countries. Over the past time, the Council took part in organizing more than 300 various events held with the participation of representatives from more than 150 countries of the world. Also, dozens of integration projects have been developed and launched. The activities of the Council are updated regularly, considering the timely assessment of the tourism vector and the international situation.
