The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kaluga Region and the Roscongress Foundation

On the fourth day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021), the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kaluga Region, the Roscongress Foundation and the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples' Assembly” signed a cooperation agreement.

On behalf of the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrei Belyaninov the agreement was signed by Pavel Basin, Co-Chairman of the Council for Informatization and Digital Economy of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

The parties plan to work together to create and ensure the work of the Kaluga Region support center for socially significant projects and initiatives in the field of using artificial intelligence and data processing.

This will allow to merge the digital competencies of state bodies, development institutions, universities, research centres and high-tech business on one platform. The center will build a common knowledge base, which will be constantly enhanced through interaction with other regions and other project participants. As a result, there will be formed a data management system with data sets for all project participants and with the ability to obtain the required amount of data for machine learning and wider use of artificial intelligence technologies.

The centre will support projects and initiatives in the economic, environmental and social spheres.

Another sphere of the centre’s activity will be the coordination of actions between business, scientific and educational organizations and government authorities in the implementation of projects within the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

Eurasian Peoples' Assembly
