The fourth WFRS World Cup will be held from 24 to 26 September 2021. The landmark tournament will take place in Russia, in Sochi, - reported the press service of the tournament organizer - the World Federation of Restaurant Sports (WFRS).

Recall that the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is the general and permanent partner of the WFRS (World Federation of Restaurant Sports).

The official rules for restaurant sports were formed in 2017. Tournament participants compete with each other in speed, aesthetics and quality of cooking, as well as entertainment in the process of serving dishes. According to the plan of the organizers, the holding of the tournaments promotes the popularization of restaurant service, the enhancement of the culture of leisure and the strengthening of international ties.

“Over the past four years, there has been a real breakthrough in the development of restaurant sports,” - says Alex Rabinovich, President of WFRS. - At present, WFRS unites national federations of 36 countries of the world, and new applications for membership are constantly coming in! The huge interest in the tournament of the professional community indicates that a culture of restaurant sports has already been formed and developed, what allows identifying and rewarding the best teams of chefs, waiters and sommeliers from around the world."

According to Alex Rabinovich, the uniqueness of the tournament lies in the fact that it is, in fact, an international platform that brings together the achievements of various countries in gastronomy and restaurant service. Each team will include three professionals. The chef will prepare a dish in a fixed time from the proposed main ingredients (it is allowed to use your own additional ingredients and spices). The waiter sets the table for the judges. And the sommelier (bartender) will select and serve a drink (or prepare a cocktail) and justify its compatibility with the dish.

The winning team will receive the WFRS Challenge Cup (with the next inscription of the country of the 2021 Team Champion of the year) and a personal Winner's Cup.

Champions will be awarded with WFRS jewelry marks, winners and prize-winners - with medals of three categories and WFRS certificates, as well as prizes and gifts from sponsors and partners.

The event will be held in person (offline), in compliance with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor. Guests of the tournament will be presented a rich concert program.

One ticket gives the right to attend one day of the World Restaurant Sports Championship, in the hall there is free seating.

Teams from more than 12 countries of the world will take part in the tournament: Russia, Israel, India, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Armenia, Belarus, Italy, USA, Germany, etc.
