On September 20, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the Union of Citizens and Organizations for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage International Union "Heirs of Victory" signed a cooperation agreement at the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples 'Assembly in Moscow.
The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrei Belyaninov and the President of the International Union «Heirs of Victory» Valery Kalyakin signed the agreement.
The subject of the agreement is the interaction aimed at:
- deepening partnerships between peoples of different countries;
- enhancing the role of public diplomacy in ensuring trust and mutual understanding between states;
- development of international relations aimed at supporting public, state, peacemaking initiatives;
- contributing to the preservation of the historical memory of the heroism of people in the fight against fascism during the Second World War 1939-1945 and the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945;
- countering the falsification of history;
- joint implementation of socially significant programs, projects and cultural and educational events in the field of international cooperation;
- assistance to the spiritual, cultural and physical development of youth;
- promoting multilateral relations in all spheres of public life.

Eurasian Peoples' Assembly
The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is an international non-governmental organization aimed at forming a social integration model in the name of establishing peace and harmony through the development of multilateral cooperation and public (people's) diplomacy in the Eurasian space. The Union of Citizens and Organizations for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage International Union "Heirs of Victory" is a collective member of the International Union "Commonwealth of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of Independent States". It unites heirs of victory, more than 3 million people of different nationalities, religion, age, living in the regions of Russia and countries of the world. This union is based on the preservation of the spiritual, historical and cultural heritage, the memory of the immortal feat of the warriors - liberators of the world from fascism from Russia, countries of the near and far abroad. The activity of the Union of Citizens and Organizations for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage International Union "Heirs of Victory" is aimed at uniting organizations of Russia and foreign states, strengthening friendly relations between peoples on the basis of a common cultural, spiritual, ethical and historical heritage, formed under the influence of direct or indirect participation of countries in the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and the Second World War, assistance to the patriotic international, spiritual, cultural education of the younger generation.
