On February 11, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, took part in the expanded General Council meeting of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

“You implement interesting and non-standard projects in social and humanitarian cooperation and the development of human capital, what corresponds to the long-term goals of our Union, laid down in the 2025 Strategy. The Assembly took place. I believe that the Commission and the Assembly should move to a new systemic stage of interaction. I propose to work out in the near future specific activities and projects of our cooperation for the new biennium 2022-2023,” - said the Chairman of the EEC Board.
Mikhail Myasnikovich also called on the representatives of the Assembly to take an active part in the work of the Scientific and Technical Council under the Chairman of the EEC Board, invited colleagues to take part in one of the thematic platforms of the Eurasian Economic Forum in May 2022, and drew attention to the need to improve information support for the functioning of the Union.
“Existing and prospective mechanisms for investment and innovation should be backed by public support aimed at mutually beneficial, complementary development. We all need to create a stable atmosphere of social loyalty of the peoples of the Eurasian Economic Union to integration, to decisions made on cooperation. I am sure that the joint work of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly will help in solving this urgent task and will help strengthen mutual trust and understanding in our Union,” - Mikhail Myasnikovich summed up.
