Your university is a colossal scientific center, and we could work together, - said Valery Ruzin.
The VolSU rector noted that the university is ready to support the initiatives of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, to take part in the creation of a media platform for the preservation of historical memory.
- A scientific center for the study of military history operats at Volgograd State University, and unique publications dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the Battle of Stalingrad have been developed. In addition, we are located on Bald Mountain - the second most important height after Mamaev Kurgan. In our museum of cadet regiments, we cherish the memory of those who defended this height. Of course, we are happy to contribute to the work in the direction of preserving historical truth, we will definitely take part in the events of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, we are ready to act as a platform for holding them, - Alla Kalinina emphasized.
It should be noted that this is not the first project within the development of cooperation between the VolSU and the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. In June 2021, VolSU Rector Alla Kalinina and Director of the Institute of International Education Natalia Glazkova represented the university at the forum of the Association of Rectors of Arab States Universities as part of a meeting of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.
Another step towards cooperation was taken this autumn, when VolSU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dmitry Ilyin and Director of the Institute of International Education Natalya Glazkova visited the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as part of a delegation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
