The Author of the Project “Weddings of the Peoples of the World” met with Maria Zakharova

Denis Knyazev, the author of the project “Weddings of the Peoples of the World”, supported by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, met with the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

He said this on Facebook. According to him, a wide range of issues was discussed.

In particular, there have been touched upon the questions of supporting the project and its promotion on the social accounts of the Ministry, as well as on the official pages of Russian foreign missions.

They have also discussed the Russian Foreign Ministry's assistance in organizing events at UNESCO headquarters (Paris) and the United Nations (New York), including the presentation of the book and photo exhibition “Traditional Udmurt Wedding” and participation of the shooting members.

Denis Knyazev informed Maria Zakharova about the preparation of meetings with the Heads of UNESCO ministries and commissions in Kenya and Tanzania (Africa) on the implementation of the project “Traditional Maasai Wedding”. Remind, these traditions are considered a matter of national pride and are recognized as intangible cultural heritage. The Russian Foreign Ministry will consider the possibility to provide assistance in organizing working meetings of the photographer during his foreign trips.
