March 17 to March 18, St. Petersburg hosts the Saint-Petersburg Open International restaurant sports tournament of the WFRS World Cup series. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is one of the partners of the event.
The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrei Belyaninov welcomed the participants and organizers of the Saint-Petersburg Open in a video message.
“What is happening now has been happening since 1918. For many, it was probably at first perplexing how you can combine a restaurant, gastronomy, sports, culture and make it all a wonderful spectacle. Nevertheless, this has been successful for more than a year. I am sure that this holiday, this sports show, this culinary extravaganza, brings joy not only to the audience, but also to the participants themselves. With all my heart I wish success, peace and friendship to all the guests, participants and organizers of the tournament,” - Andrey Belyaninov said in particular.
It should be noted that the Saint-Petersburg Open gathered participants from 12 countries of the world.
The organizer of the tournament is the World Federation of Restaurant Sports (WFRS) - IPA CIS.

The President of the VFRS is Alexander Rabinovich, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, General Director of the International Rating Agency SHA-International Ratings Center in the USA, Canada, Europe and the European Union (Israel).
