The activity of the Representative Offices of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly shows a Positive Trend

On February 14, 2023, the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Moscow (Russia) hosted a meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Representative Offices of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Representative Offices, members of the General Council, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

Opening the meeting, Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly noted:

“All the fundamental documents of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly proclaim the principle of creating opportunities and favorable conditions for the use of the resource potential of every person who seeks to make a creative contribution to the development of Eurasia. That is why we pay special attention to the work of our Representative Offices, we want their activities to be active, aimed at international projects that bring real benefits to the peoples of the Eurasian countries in the foreseeable future.”

The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly introduced Murat Tskhovrebov (Republic of South Ossetia) and Nada Salem Nur Abdelvadud (Arabic Republic of Egypt) to the members of the Committee of the heads of the newly established Representative Offices.

The heads of the Representative Offices shared information about ongoing international projects and work on attracting new partners.

The First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Svetlana Smirnova took the initiative to appoint Representatives of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the regions of Eurasian countries. Such a model will help expand the presence of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly on the territory of the continent. This initiative was supported by the members of the Coordinating Committee. The participants of the meeting noted the positive trend of the international activities of the Representative Offices, outlined joint development prospects.
